Summer Tour of Arthur Avenue “The Little Italy of the
Bronx”
Join Sally for a visit to the lively markets of this unique old-fashioned Italian neighborhood known as “Belmont.” Drop by the butcher, the baker, the pasta and mozzarella maker as well as many other shopkeepers in the neighborhood. Purchase the superb wines from every region in Italy, Italian gourmet treats and imported specialties of the holiday season: Fava beans, tiny fresh artichokes, asparagus, strawberries and raspberries and regional Italian pastries. Price includes a two-hour walking tour with Sally including a mozzarella demonstration, a behind the scene view of Italian bread making and a delicious multi-course lunch with wine and dessert at a favorite local trattoria. Sally will meet you at the Wilton commuter parking lot on the corner of Route 7 and Wolfpit Road at 8:30 AM and caravan to Arthur Avenue for a fun day of shopping
